ALERT: A46 road closure between Witham St Hughs and Pennels roundabouts

We are at the scene of a four-vehicle collision on the A46. 

The road has been closed between the Witham St Hughs and Pennels roundabouts while investigators work at the scene.

A passenger of one of the vehicles is reported to have sustained injuries considered serious but not life-threatening. 

We anticipate the road closure to be in place for a number of hours. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes where feasible.
